Does Dad need a pool this Father’s Day ?

It’s like all of a sudden, it’s September.

We’ve battled through months of rain, regained a little post covid normality, only to have been slapped with the array of sickness that the winter chill has thrown at us and now we are finally starting to enjoy a little taste of those warmer spring days. They are coming. And we are excited.

You know what else is coming? Father’s Day. That’s right, the time of year we spoil the dads in our lives and let them know they’re the best.

Our “heroes”.

They’re the blokes around the house that start projects and never finish them.

The self-proclaimed Mr Fix-It’s who endeavour to do their very best to make things better but alas, tend to just muck things up.

The dads who love pottering around the house on the weekend, sweltering in the summer sun weeding (whilst probably drinking), and who are most happy when at home with the people they love the most – us.

This Father’s Day, if the stall at school won’t cut it – why not give your special man the low down on building his own brand new pool?

I mean, I don’t want to write the card for you but if you wanted some inspo it could go a little something like this….

Dear Dad,

Happy Father’s Day to the very best dad in the whole wide world. Thank you for always being there for us, for making us laugh and for always being up for a really long family lunch full of good food and great wine.

We love you so much! Like all the way up to the sky and back again a trillion times!

We love you so much that we think this Father’s Day you should spoil yourself and get your very own pool.

It’s about time you had somewhere to chill in your own backyard, somewhere to cool down on those stinking hot days after hours on the golf course. Somewhere to escape our nagging – am I right?

And also, I know we’ve all moved out but if you’re wanting to keep the kids and the grandkids wanting to spend time with you then this will be a huge value add.

If you think putting a pool in is a bit of a pain, you’re way off - it’s actually so simple. All you’ve gotta do is call Cronulla Pools. I’ve actually spoken to them already and they sound awesome, super keen and pumped to help us build the pool. They said these things take time but there would be nothing stopping us getting a pool this summer and how bloody good would that be?!

Anyway, we love you heaps and heaps. We really think you deserve everything in the world because you’ve given us all we could have ever asked for. We think you’re the greatest.

Cheers to the good times and the better times to come – by the pool!

Love you the most,

Kate

It’s so easy to think of a million reasons why our dad’s would love a pool and really, what could be better for the whole family!

Give the guy a cuddle and wish him a Happy Father’s Day from us – hope to chat to you all soon!
